(Reuters) - A damaged locomotive is pictured at the scene of a train crash in Karow, north of Berlin April 17, 2009. A German passenger train collided with a freight train late on Thursday, injuring 24 people, police said. "Nine people were taken to hospital but no-one suffered life-threatening injuries," said a police spokesman, adding no liquid gas had escaped from the freight train, which was made up of 24 tankers.
