Mar 29th, 2012
(Reuters) - EBay Inc on Thursday named David Marcus president of its PayPal unit, filling the role left vacant when Scott Thompson left to become chief executive of Yahoo Inc in January. Marcus joined eBay's PayPal in August 2011 after it bought Zong, a mobile payments company that he founded. Marcus had been PayPal's vice president of mobile and will become its president on April 2, eBay said. (Reporting by Jessica Wohl in Chicago; Editing by Gerald E. McCormick) (Source: Reuters) -
